I attended the Much Music Video Awards for the first time with my homies Shea, Jordan, Tenisha & Kirt. Shea & I didn't stay around for the actual award show and performances instead, we headed to the Drake Afterparty. Here are some photos...

Jazmine - I Pray

New Beginnings

Hey fam!

It's your girl Jazmine for the first time bloggin' on the page. How exciting! Lol.
Yesterday, I had a photoshoot with the one and only Rennaldo. If you all remember, he was mentioned in an earlier post last month due to an award he won for an inspirational photo. I came to realize just how passionate he is about his art, photography, and how determined he is to complete his dream. After a while of searching, he chose me as the "face of his company" and will be featured on all his business cards and such. Personally, I was happy to help him out and honoured he chose me to do so. Having said that, look out for the progress of his enterprise and make sure you get a business card ;) .

I'm Spinning!!!

I was asked a couple of weeks ago, by Tiffany of TEAMSOFIERCE, to DJ for an event she's organizing at Rolly's Garage. My excitement builds as the day gets closer. Come support, I believe there'll be live performances by Remix graduates and participants. Admission's FREE!

If you have ever been downtown by Dundas Square, then you have seen this guy. We pass by this guy so much that he knows us by name lol. The good thing is he's so good at what he does you can never get bored of his tricks. He's tricks will always leave you saying "how did he do that", every time. That's enough from me, take this in.

MMVA's Weekend, Hit or Miss?

ALRIGHT!!! sooooo, I have to say this was the worst award show I've been to. Maybe if I was a little 13 year old girl I would have loved watching the Jonas Bros. all night, but the reality is I'm not a 13 year old girl.

When we first got there Omada asked me who I came to see, I honestly could not answer that question. Then I thought to myself maybe Kelly, the last time I checked she was doing her thing. She sucked, maybe i shouldn't say she sucked but she sure did disappoint me. Then I thought Lady Gaga might bring something good to the table but she was wack to. I'm not even going to get into the bands.

Maybe I'm being hard. If you saw the show, live or on tv, let me know what you think. I really want to know.

P.S. I don't want to hear from a 13 year old girl because I'm pretty sure you will love anything with the Jonas Brothers in it.

We decided to go for a walk because we noticed that we didn't know anyone walking the red carpet, and I really just wanted to hear the music, and then we saw this beast of a car. Of course MX wants it because he thinks he's batman.

For me, this was the sickest year of the MMVA's all because I got to watch them across the street on top of the roof of the Ben & Jerry's Icecream Parlor. Most of the time, other people on the roof kept mentioning how the cops kept threatening us to come down saying they would arrest us if we didn't or they'd come up with tazers, but meh, we knew our rights and they ended up being liars, because when we came down (after the show) they weren't even there. Anyways, here are some pics of the day with me & my good friend michael (whom I've known since I was 5).
